Analysis of Parenting Style Quiz

Thank you for choosing parental wellness and thank you for taking the time to complete this parenting style quiz. You may have noticed that it is not like most questionnaires, in which you get a score at the end that offers some kind of insight into your personality type.

Unfortunately, achieving and maintaining parental wellness or any kind of wellness takes much more than quick fixes or magic cures. A simple parenting style quiz will not help unless you follow through on what you have learned.

It has taken human beings, particularly in North America, many years to build up our stress levels to the current state. Getting things back under control (getting our health and quality of life back) could take just as long. Stress management is achievable, though, so have a little faith.

The first step to solving any wellness challenge is to discover more about yourself and your problem solving style. A parenting style quiz can be useful to get the ball rolling. We call this brief questionnaire an inventory, because the first step is to take stock of your life as it is today.

What are your strengths and weaknesses? What is your current environment? What support systems do you have available? What threats are there in your life that may prevent or stop you from getting into the driver’s seat of your life and what opportunities do you have in your life that will help or empower you to get into the driver’s seat of your life.

Exploring your attitudes about a problem is also a critical part of solving any problem. You have to, first; admit there might be a problem. You could be your own biggest threat and something unexpected could be your single greatest asset. You will never know until you begin a process of exploration about YOU!

Next, you must explore and research the subject matter and learn as much as you can about it so that you know what options, choices, resources and supports are available to help you manage the problem or solve the challenge. A parenting style quiz can help you get a big picture awareness of a problem. Gaining a big picture awareness takes the teeth out of a problem and makes it feel more manageable. Rome wasn't built in a day and you have to start with one small piece of the puzzle and solve that one and then move onto the next piece.
