Good Stress Management For Kids
Report Card Gives Us A Failing Grade.

Whose job is is it to ensure good stress management for kids these days. Is it the school? Is it the community? Or, is it the parents? The Search Institute says it is all of our jobs.

How Do Your Children Handle Stress?

Have you ever heard of the 40 developmental assets for youth developed by the Search Institute?

I prefer to think of them as tools to use to help with good stress management for kids. After you watch the video below, you may be interested to see the results of a 2003 survey of 150,000, 6th to 12th grade children in 202 communities across the US. The results are not very pretty. It's proof that childhood stress is out of control and we have got to do something.

For a complete list of the assets for each age group, please scroll to the bottom of the page.
